TREATMENT BASICS Using Supplements

Tissue actions of MFs will clearly depend on the underlying health of the organism, animal, human or vegetable. Since MFs depend on and affect electrolytes, minerals, proteins, fats and carbohydrates, the lack of or imbalance of these substrates is very likely to affect the value of the magnetic therapies or any healing capability, even ones that are totally native to the body. For example, for bone healing, numerous basic substrates are necessary to maximize the growth of new bone. Calcium may be the least of these. Others include manganese, magnesium, Vitamin K, strontium, boron, etc. If these are not present in the right amounts bones will not repair properly. That means these factors need to be present as well for EMFs to generate the best results.

To be certain that you have the right balance of nutrients you most likely will need to have an individual evaluation, unless you are using MFs purely for health maintenance.  At the very least you need to be on a very well balanced multi-vitamin and mineral preparation. Ionic minerals may be best. I happen to believe that the Standard American Diet (SAD) is no guarantee that this is true for you. Our individual requirements vary significantly for each of us daily. Preventing vitamin or mineral deficiencies is like waiting for the horse to get out of the barn before taking action. Keeping up reasonable tissue levels with our diets is a crap shoot. It’s very important to have a balanced diet, but using supplements gives you more of a guarantee. Using supplements may mean you excrete them in your urine often – at worst a waste of money and effort. But, if your dikes aren’t ready when the flood comes, you will spend all your effort and precious resources repairing and rebuilding. Remember, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. May you never know what you have prevented!

This is why I usually recommend nutritional and supplement balancing before or at starting MF therapies.
