The PEMF-120 Portable is a high intensity impulse system popular with practitioners. The Portable model is most often used in a rugged/outdoor/equine setting.
This unit has a single program, with impulse rate (pulses per second) dependent on the intensity level chosen. The higher the intensity, the slower the pulse rate will be. Learn more in our Blog “Going Low and Slow“.
The maximum intensity of the system is 9,360 Gauss (936,000 microTesla). Most people will not use the system at the maximum level. Even at half-power, this unit is capable of producing muscle contractions in the user.
Treatment time depends entirely on the user and condition being treated. The newest model of the PEMF-120 Portable has an adjustable timer that can be set for between 1 and 10 minutes.
